Alexa’s Cafe is a longtime favorite in downtown Bothell—a beloved local café with deep community roots and a thriving catering business. We’ve had the privilege of working with Alexa and her team for years, including designing her previous site. But as her business evolved, the need for a more flexible, content-forward platform became clear—especially to better showcase and support the growing demand for catering.

Our redesign focused on preserving the warmth and familiarity of the café brand while giving the new site a more modern structure behind the scenes. We built in flexible content areas and intuitive backend tools that allow Alexa’s team to easily update menus, spotlight seasonal offerings, and expand the catering section as needed. On the frontend, we crafted a streamlined user experience with clear calls to action and a refreshed visual design that reflects the personality of the space—charming, inviting, and unmistakably local.
